Yes if you eat it raw. You wouldn’t eat potatoes or a whole onion raw, would you? It needs to be gently sauteed in olive oil with onions and carrots, and then it’s a beautiful base for all kinds of sauces, soup, stews, etc.
It has it’s place…. but….
