same as any other road user who thinks they are entitled to the whole road!
It depends. If they are going fast enough to warrant them being in the road; ie, above 15mph (we have a 20mph limit on lots of roads in Bristol), by all means let them use it and have the full space. If they’re slower they should stick to the cycle path. More than that, if they ARE belting along and trying to shave an extra second off their morning commute, (and swearing at you if you slow them down), they SHOULD be on the road, and not making the narrow cycle paths more dangerous than motorways for children and cycle pootlers like me
